Brian also shares his deep passion for mixed doubles with his wife Crystal, whom he is sure would kick his butt at a draw to the button.
Crystal Laffoley (Production Manager) - Crystal is a professional Stage Manager, Production Manager, and Arts Administrator originally from New Brunswick. She is a graduate of St. Thomas University (BA, Hons.) and the National Theatre School of Canada (Production Design & Technical Arts). She has worked at NTS as a Production Coach annually since 2014. Crystal is currently Associate Producer with Artistic Fraud.
Crystal's curling career peaked in 1995 when her junior curling team swept up the bronze medal at a provincial tournament in New Brunswick. She doesn't remember having a solid grasp of any curling strategies, but she does remember sitting for hours while her mother plaited her waist-length hair into tiny braids pre-tournament (after all, it was the 90s). Now in retirement, Crystal spends her time counting down the days to curling tournament season, and she believes that the addition of Mixed Doubles Curling is the best thing to ever happen to the Olympics.
